Peace Dollars were minted 1921-1935 in appreciation of the end of World War I. High mintages allow for the Peace Dollar to be found in every desired condition. The 1921 Peace Dollar was a “high relief” design which tended to show flatness of Lady Liberty’s hair and was not easily stackable. The design was changed to the more common design in 1922 and thereafter.
