The numismatic gold coins include Dollars, Quarter Eagles (denominated as a $2.50 coin), Three- and Four-Dollar pieces, Half Eagles ($5 Gold piece), Gold Eagles (designated as a $10 coin), and Double Eagles (a $20 coin).   While many of the later date coins from 1880-1932 are relatively common, many of the earlier date coins can be quite rare or extremely rare, and can be worth several  thousands of dollars...  particularly better condition coins.
